The fourth edition of the sustainable mobility exhibition will be held on 17 and 18 April 2024

  • The event will take place at Ficoba, the Gipuzkoa exhibition centre, on 17 and 18 April
  • From this edition onwards, the fair will change its name: Go Mobility by MUBIL is renamed MUBIL Mobility Expo

(Donostia-San Sebastián, 12 June 2023). The main players in sustainable mobility in Southern Europe, both public and private, will be meeting again in April next year to explore the latest developments and trends in the sector. The organisation of MUBIL Mobility Expo has kicked off its activity to bring together manufacturers, buyers, product, service and solution providers, leading companies and influencers. The event will include an exhibition space with leading firms showcasing the latest advances and an international panel of conferences and debates that will establish the Basque Country as the capital of intelligent and sustainable mobility in Europe.

For this fourth edition, the exhibition has changed its name. The Go Mobility by MUBIL will be renamed MUBIL Mobility Expo. A name with which MUBIL, the intelligent and sustainable mobility hub and promoter of the trade fair, wants to project, even more strongly, its commitment to sustainable mobility and to the exhibition that is held every two years at Ficoba.

The new MUBIL Mobility Expo event will take place on 17 and 18 April 2024 and will bring together the international ecosystem of sustainable mobility, understood to mean clean, accessible, safe and connected, in both its industrial and digital dimensions.

First impressions for this new edition of the trade fair are good. Intelligent and sustainable mobility is one of the major challenges shared at the international level. From local to global, from individual to group, new solutions are being sought on a daily basis to meet this challenge.

The market is hungry for real solutions to both the current and future sustainable mobility needs. And, in this scenario, MUBIL Mobility Expo is the ideal showcase for operators to present their most innovative mobility services/products as well as a unique opportunity to bring together European mobility industry professionals and organisations and to promote new synergies and opportunities.

Exhibiting companies and visitors to the exhibition

MUBIL Mobility Expo represents a prime framework for automotive companies, electrical equipment companies, battery manufacturers, energy suppliers (electricity, oil, gas and hydrogen), infrastructure and network companies, service integrators, connectivity, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data suppliers, public institutions and fleet operators,

who provide the market with answers and generate business around vehicles, charging infrastructure, energy storage for traction or charging applications, electric and shared mobility services, on-demand and Mobility-as-a-Service transport solutions, micro-mobility services, global ecosystem and sustainable mobility markets.

A complete range across the entire chain of sustainable mobility will be available to MUBIL Mobility Expo visitors, including operators, buyers, city decision-makers and companies and service providers in search of new business opportunities.

Also, as in previous editions, MUBIL Mobility Expo will be attracting specialised visitors (from both private and public companies) with proven investment capacity and expectations to invest in sustainable mobility products and services via the organisation of a Hosted Buyers Programme.

About MUBIL Mobility Expo

The Basque Country is at the forefront of regions that are addressing actions in research, manufacturing, development and deployment of new products, services and mobility solutions. MUBIL Hub, smart and sustainable mobility hub in the Basque Country, has joined this initiative with determination, in order to reinforce existing capabilities in this sector, boost its development and strengthen the competitiveness and international positioning of the business fabric in this field.

The Basque Country has an experienced and innovative industrial fabric distributed throughout the value chain, from leading companies, technology centres recognised at a European level and dynamic and specialised clusters to universities that bring together talent, vocational training centres, entrepreneurial initiatives and pioneering public agents in the definition and deployment of innovative mobility solutions.

All of this has created a sufficient critical mass to launch a project such as MUBIL Mobility Expo, which was created in the Basque Country, but which is aimed at the whole of southern Europe. MUBIL Mobility Expo is an event promoted by MUBIL with the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, the Basque Government and the Ente Vasco de la Energía.
